We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Make-A-Wish® Ireland for 2024 & 2025 and we are starting this festive season with the launch of Santa’s Magic Castle.
We will donate €1 to Make-A-Wish® Ireland for every visit to Santa’s Magic Castle this year, bringing the magic of the festive season to life while making a meaningful impact on children and families facing critical illnesses.
On the first floor, visitors will be greeted at Santa’s Magic Castle by cheerful elves who will teach children enchanting tricks, including creating their very own “Magic Snow Storm” to share with friends and family. Guests are invited to capture their memories with a family photo, take home a festive present and, of course, enjoy a memorable visit with Santa himself.
Since 1992, Make-A-Wish® Ireland has granted over 3,250 wishes to brave children across Ireland. A wish granted provides children and their families a joyful escape from the demands of medical treatments, creating lasting, happy memories. Relying solely on public support, Make-A-Wish® Ireland operates without government funding and is recognised for its transparency and accountability with a triple-lock certification from Charities Institute Ireland. Through each wish, the organisation brings hope and joy to children facing critical illnesses.
Speaking about this partnership, Derek McDonnell, Centre Director of Jervis Shopping Centre, said, “We are delighted to support Make-A-Wish® Ireland as our charity partner for the next two years. This Christmas, every Santa visit will contribute to the incredible work Make-A-Wish® does for children facing critical illnesses. We’re inviting families to join us in spreading holiday cheer, knowing that each visit helps create real magic and joy for those who need it most.”
Susan McQuaid O’Dwyer, Chief Executive of Make-A-Wish® Ireland, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with Jervis Shopping Centre, a vibrant and iconic part of Dublin city, visited by thousands daily. This collaboration offers Make-A-Wish® Ireland an incredible platform to connect directly with the public, sharing the inspiring stories of wishes granted to children in Ireland facing critical illnesses. Together, through donations from Santa’s grotto, an exciting schedule of fundraising events, and interactive educational displays, this partnership can help make a lasting impact and bring more hope and joy to these children and their families.”
Tickets begin at €18, which includes a special gift for each child and a large family photo in a festive sleeve. Plus, parents go free with each booking!
